Kim Jung Tae To Join “Superman Is Back” As The Fifth Father

Viewers will be seeing another adorable father and child duo in the variety show "Superman Is Back" very soon.

On April 2, PD Kang Bong Kyu, the director of the program, announced, "Kim Jung Tae was offered a spot in the show after he and his son Kim Ji Hoo appeared in an episode with Jang Hyun Seung and his children. They both gladly accepted the offer."

Kim Jung Tae is a household name in the field of drama and movies. Some of his most famous projects are "Miracle In Cell No. 7", "Miss Ripley", "Dream High" and "Goddess Of Marriage."

He continued, "The family lives in Busan, and it's a new environment for the viewers. It is also nice to see a new child, especially since Ji Hoo doesn't have anyone in the same age as himself."

"We finished filming for their section today, and we're still deciding when to air their debut episode. It would most likely be at the end of the month, but we're still contemplating on it," he added.

On the subject of adding a new member because another member will be leaving, he clarified, "One family will be added, but no one will be leaving the show. We will be continuing with five families."

"Superman Is Back" airs every Sundays on KBS.
