"My Sassy Girl", one of the most popular movies during the start of Hallyu, will become hot again as talks are being made for a possible sequel. The cast might include the movie's original actor Cha Tae Hyun and f(x)'s Victoria.

Some media representatives already dropped their names to Sports DongA but there is no clear or final answer from both sides if they nodded already to the upcoming project.

Cha Tae Hyun, who starred with Jun Ji Hyun in the romantic comedy flick in 2001, is open to the possibility. His camp said that an offer was made but no confirmation yet.

Victoria's representative said that they are presently assessing the offer. Jun Ji Hyun portrayed the role of a rough but comical girl 13 years ago and Victoria is being eyed as the one who can effectively carry out the character again.

Now that a sequel is brewing, fans of the movie are wondering if it will be a continuation of the first movie or a completely different scenario.

A movie representative mentioned that the production will most likely commence during the second half of the year. Its filming locations will include Korea and China since the production team will include staff from both countries.

"My Sassy Girl" already had several international remakes, including a Hollywood version (starring Elisha Cuthbert & Jesse Bradford) and a Japanese drama (featuring Tsuyoshi Kusanagi & Rena Tanaka) both shown in 2008.

Relive some of the movie's romantic scenes through its famous soundtrack "I Believe" (sung by Shin Seung Hun.)
