The sci fi movie "Kwon Bob" of the director Park Kwang Hun of "Welcome To Dong Mak Gol" is yielding a lot of controversies even before the production team started filming the movie. A few years ago, actor Jo In Sung was casted as the main character for the movie, and has been waiting to film it, letting go of the offers to film other movies. However, because of schedule conflicts between the actor and production team, Jo In Sung had to resign from the role in September of 2013.
The production team then approached actor Yeo Jin Goo, who is a much younger actor but has proven his acting skills in a variety of movies, especially "Hwa Yi: The Child Who Swallowed Up The Monster." CJ Entertainment announced that the production team of "Kwon Bob" casted actor Yeo Jin Goo in February. And, just two months after, the production team of "Kwon Bob" abolished the contract with him, in hopes to recruit an actor who was better known in China, since a lot of its funders were from China. It was found out that the production team approached Kim Soo Hyun to offer him to star in the movie, after signing a contract with actor Yeo Jin Goo in February.
