Lee Yeol Eum Cast In "High School King"

New rookie actress Lee Yeol Eum who rose to the headlines with a single short drama will join tvN "High School King". 

Lee Yeol Eum's management company said, "in the tvN "High School King" rookie actress Lee Yeol Eum was cast in the role of high schooler Jung Yoo Ra who has a crush on Lee Min Suk (played by Suh In Gook) and is the sibling of Jung Soo Young (played by Lee Hana).

In the drama, Jung Yoo Ra is a charismatic person that has a lot of determination as she goes forth and make a daring move on high schooler Min Suk.  Especially with Min Suk in the middle she is expected to have a strange love triangle with her sister Soo Young.

On the KBS2 drama special "Middle Schooler Miss A", she showed a mysterious side of a femme fatale and showed off a charisma to grasp the viewers.  In tvN "High School King", she plays a happy virus character watching Min Suk and is expected to make another acting transformation.

Lee Yeol Eum said, "I am very happy to participate in a good piece.  I still lack in many ways but I hope to show a mature side through this piece.  As much as it is my first miniseries I will try my best as an actress who works hard.  I hope you continue to watch pretty and lovely high schooler Jung Yoo Ra" and expressed her feelings of being in the drama.

Menawhile, in the new Monday/Tuesday miniseries "High School King", the story concerns an executive of a large company as it is a romantic comedy of a navie and simple high schooler who enters the world of adults and goes through a fun and adventurous story.

In addition to Lee Yeol Eum, the people cast in tvN "High School King" are Suh In Gook, Lee Hana, and Lee Soo Hyuk will be in the drama after tvN "A Witch's Love" in mid-June.
