SBS Monday Tuesday drama 'Dr. Stranger' actor Lee Jong Suk witnessed the death of his own father, and got devastated. On the second episode of the new SBS Monday Tuesday drama 'Dr. Stranger' which aired in the afternoon of May 6, 2014, the North Korean doctor Park Hoon, played by Lee Jong Suk, met with his father Park Chul at the hospital. His father Park Chul had secretly gotten into the hospital to give advice to his son. On his way out, however, Park Chul got shot by the guard and died. Park Hoon got devastated, having first handedly witnessed the death of his own father just across the street. He wanted to open the gate and get closer to his father, but the guards stopped him, and did not even allow him to operate surgery on his father. After experiencing such tragedy, Park Hoon, as his father had told him, planned to run away to South Korea with his fiancé Song Jae Hee, played by Jin Sae Yeon. In related news, the new SBS Monday Tuesday drama "Dr. Stranger" tells a story of a doctor, played by Lee Jong Suk, who was born in South Korea but was raised in the north. The new SBS Monday Tuesday drama "Dr. Stranger" will air on April 28, 2014.
