According to Taylor Swift, writer Lena Dunham is quite the fashionista.




Swift admitted that she calls on Dunham for the latest trends in fashion because the "Girls" creator knows how to shop.




"Lena Dunham always has great websites and shops at great stores," Swift said in a video interview with E!. "She always tells me her newest obsession, whether it's a new website, a blog or a store. She's really good with that stuff."




Although their red carpet looks are very different, Swift and Dunham have similar fashion sense when it comes to their wardrobe off camera.




While Dunham is Swift's fashion advisor, the singer looks to Zooey Deschanel for fashion inspiration. In her video interview, Swift noted the actress as one of the "'most fashionable people" she knows.




Additionally, Swift looks to the 50s, 60s, and 90s for fashion inspiration.




"I figure if I stick to classics I won't have as many cringe worthy moments looking back 25 years from now," Swift joked.
