Hercules New Movie Trailer Unveils Plot Details As Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Battles Hordes Of Monsters In Search Of Vengeance! See A Whole New Chapter Of The Legendary Greek Hero [VIDEO]

A new trailer of Hercules has been released as former WWE superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson fights monsters and gods as the legendary Greek hero.

Hercules is an upcoming adventure movie directed by Brett Ratner and distributed by paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures. It stars Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, Reece Ritchie, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Joseph Fiennes and John Hurt. Hercules the movie is based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars.

The new trailer shows the plot details of the movie as Hercules recently completed his legendary twelve labors and went back home to see his wife and children. Denying his heritage as a demigod and the son of Zeus, an unknown figure killed his wife sparking a quest for vengeance. In his quest, he was hired by the King of Thrace in stopping a tyrannical warlord whos uses a legion of monsters from the god of the underworld, Hades.

Hercules strength and skills in battle will be tested as he fights to save Thrace, finding out who killed his wife, and accept his destiny as the legendary hero that he was meant to be.

Several Greek monsters have been identified in the movie such as the Nemian Lion, the nine-headed Hydra, the Erymanthian Boar, and the Cerberus and new poster for the movie has been revealed courtesy of Screenrant.

Hercules is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2014.
