Deus Ex Universe appears to be gaining traction, according to a logo that allegedly came out of an EU trademark database. Last year, the name was officially given to the next wave of Deus Ex experience by developer Eidos Montreal, as reported by Eurogamer.

It was tweeted out by AGB today and looks like this:

Does this suggest a new Deus Ex reveal at E3 2014? Back in March it was reported on a Square Enix trademark for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, but the publisher has yet to formally announce anything with that name.

Deus Ex is a cyberpunk-themed action role-playing video game developed by Ion Storm and published by Eidos Interactive in the year 2000, which combines gameplay elements of first-person shooters with those of role playing games. The game received near-universal critical and industry acclaim, including being named "Best PC Game of All Time" in PC Gamer's Top 100 PC Games and in a poll carried out by UK gaming magazine PC Zone. It was a frequent candidate for and winner of Game of the Year awards, drawing praise for its pioneering designs in player choice and multiple narrative paths. It has sold more than 1 million copies, as of April 23, 2009, since its release in 2000.

Set in a dystopian world during the 2050s, the central plot follows the story of JC Denton, an anti-terrorist agent employed by the United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition (UNATCO), as he uncovers a deep and ancient conspiracy, encountering fictional recreations of organizations such as Majestic 12, the Illuminati and the Hong Kong Triads throughout his journey.

No plot details have been released yet. Thus, stay tuned on E3 2014 to see if anything emerges.
