Moto 360 Watch price, release date are still unofficially confirmed by Motorola. As of this time, reports suggest that the new smartphone's approximate retail value is $249 and is anticipated to be released together with the Moto X+1with Google I/0 2014 in June 25 and June 26.

According to International Digital Times, the monetary value for the Moto 360 was based in the official rules of a contest that Motorola is holding. The said competition allows consumers to choose the official template PSD for the Moto 360 watch face design.

"One (1) grand prize winner will receive a Moto 360 (ARV $249)," as stated in the "Moto 360 Design Face-Off" contest rules for the Prizes category.

ARV or approximate retail value gives consumers an idea of how much the Moto 360 or other products will cost when it hit the market.

Reportedly, Motorola has clarified that the ARV is for tax purposes and doesn't necessarily indicate the retail price of the Moto 360.

"Thanks for your excitement around our Moto 360 Design Face-Off contest! We want to make clear that the "Approximate Retail Value" (ARV) indicated in our rules is included for tax purposes only and should not be interpreted as the suggested retail price of the Moto 360 when it becomes available for purchase," Motorola stated in a reply to a Moto 360 fan Michal Tajchert in a separate Google+ post.

According to Load The Game, Moto 360 will use "Google's Android Wear OS and will work like a notification window that will display your latest notification letting users interact with them either by swiping them away or issuing voice command trough Google Now. As its name suggests, the Moto 360 will have a classic, circular face. The device will only sport one button on its side and the screen can rotate allowing it to be worn either on your left or right hand."

Reportedly, the Moto 360 will work with any Android smartphone that runs v. 4.3 or higher. It will also feature a stainless steel body and will be water resistant. Motorola did not offer more information about its IP ratings but considering that modern devices come with IP67, allowing them to survive for 30 minutes submerged under 1m of water, the Moto 360 might come with the same rating.
