Slam Dunk Anime Continuation 2014 Episode 1 Features Kukoro's Basketball Crossover As Animator Teases Seirin Vs Shohoku Game!
It's pretty obvious that Slam Dunk and Kuroko No Basuke/Kuroko's Basketball are the most popular basketball mangas/animes in the world and it makes perfect sense that those two would eventually meet each other in a crossover and that's exactly what's going to happen if reports are to be believed.
JapNation AniManga has reported that Toei Animation in conjunction with Production I.G would release a one-time crossover showing Seirin vs Shohoku in the first episode of the Slam Dunk 2014 anime continuation.
One of the animators at Toei Animation Philippines allegedly posted a fan-made picture showing the two teams competing with each other and he captioned the photo by saying "get ready for episode 1".
While fans of both shows have admitted that Seirin would win due to their "powers", it has been hinted that Shohoku would gain a "power up" in the crossover to even out the playing field.
JapNation AniManga has speculated that the Slam Dunk 2014 anime continuation would air on December but Toei nor Shonen Jump has confirmed anything about it.
