Sword Art Online Season 2 Trailer Shows Sinon's Backstory And 'Startear' Ending Theme By Luna Haruna! Watch Her From A Scared Teenager To An Expert Sniper In Gun Gale Online [VIDEO]

The new trailer of Sword Art Online season will feature the new character Sinon in the anime show.

The new trailer was first streamed in the official Sword Art Online Facebook page as audiences will take a glimpse of Sinon's past in season 2 of the anime show.

In the SAO manga, Sinon/Asada Shino is an expert sniper and top player of the gun themed MMORPG Gun Gale Online. Sinon's reason for playing the game is to overcome her fear of guns, after a traumatizing incident were in she shot a man out of self-defence during a robbery in the post office. Since then she developed an intense fear of guns and slight fear of men.

The new trailer also featured the full ending theme song "Startear" by Japanese singer Luna Haruna.

Sword Art Online season 2 will focus on the Phantom Bullet Arc as Kirito will play GGO to investigate a series of murders that are linked with the assassination features of the game.

The Anime Expo 2014 will host the special SAO event with special guests such as SAO creator Reki Kawahara and character designer abec.

Crunchyroll will be streaming the season 2 on July 5 and the series will stream in China on LeTV, in Taiwan on i-funtv, in French-speaking countries (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Algeria, Monaco, Tunisia, and in Quebec, Canada) on Wakanim and Daisuki will stream the series in the rest of Europe.

SAO season 2 will air in Korea on the cable TV station Aniplus and will also air in Thailand and Singapore on cable TV while the show airs in Japan via Tokyo MX TV on July 5 at 11:30 p.m. before the show also airs on MBS, TV Aichi, tvk, BS11 and several other stations.
