For camera specs, the iPad Air has a 5MP camera that covers every aspect like autofocus, face detection, full HD video recording, and even video stabilization, although it doesn't come with flash. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 on the other hand has only a 3.15MP camera that offers almost no features apart from the 720p video recording. The front facing VGA camera is also outshined by the 1.2MP camera of its competitior.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 costs $200 which is cheaper comapred to the iPad Air that costs more than $450 for the base 16 GB version.
