Good news for avid fans of the hit series Breaking Bad. Walter White might be appearing on TV again soon. The Breaking Bad spinoff, Better Call Saul might have timelines that intersect with that of the original series.

Executive Producer Peter Gould, in an interview with New York Daily News said that the spinoff could possibly include scenes that happen during the Breaking Bad timeline. And if this is so, fans could reasonably expect to see Bran Cranston as Walter White once more.

Cranston's critically-acclaimed performance as Walter Whie, a high school chemistry teacher who became a drug lord. The series went on to become one of the most highly-rated shows of television, bagging plenty of accolades from prestigious award-giving bodies such as the Primetime Emmy Awards, Satellite Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and the People's Choice Award. It even broke the record for the highest rated show of all time in 2014, according to the Guiness World Records.

Gould explains that they are realistic about the making of the show, "We think we have a story that is worth making," he said. "We could never dream of the kind of success that Breaking Bad had, and the love we got from the fans. But at a certain point you have to do the best job you can and tell the best story that entertains you, get a good response and hope people like it."

He also talks about the possibilities of having Breaking Bad characters appear on the spinoff. "One of the great things about having a timeline which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before Breaking Bad, during Breaking Bad, and after Breaking Bad," Gould said, "That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on Breaking Bad."

But Goulding is quick to note that Better Call Saul will be a stand-alone series. He said that they were keen in creating a show "that stands on it own, is its own story, and is a brand extension."

Better Call Saul will have star Bob Odenirk, and Jonathan Banks (who played the character of Mike Ehrmantraut in Breaking Bad). Other cast members are Michael McKean, Patrick Fabian, Rhea Seehorn, and Michael Mando.

The spinoff will air early in 2015.
