Gwyneth Paltrow recreated some of the most iconic looks from the past years for the new ad campaign of Max Factor. The make-up giant styled Paltrow in 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s look, after the biggest style icons of that decade.

The different looks were done by creative design director and celebrity make-up artist Pat McGrath, in celebration of Max Factor's 100 Years of Glamour campaign

"Mr. Max Factor was the original architect of personal glamour and the man responsible for some of the most transcending beauty looks of all time," the Max Factor statement read.

In fact, the late Max Factor himself has worked with the most celebrated Hollywood beauties of his time, including Judy Garland, Jean Harlow and Bette Davis. This campaign pays an homage to the years of influence that the brand has had on the beauty industry and Hollywood.

"We have has taken our creative inspiration, Gwyneth Paltrow, and used make-up to transform her into glamorous heroines from varying decades," Caroline Barnes, Max Factor make-up artist said.

The first look released to the press was a Farrah Fawcett look -- a very 1970s carefree, disco style where Paltrow donned , with a bronzed face and heavy lashes. The actress stunned in sparkly gold dress.

Talking about her look in the behind-the-scenes shoot for the 70s look, Paltrow said, "It all works very well together for the picture. I think in the picture it looks amazing."

The Brigitte Bardot look, on the other hand has the 41-year old actress sporting a messy, layered do, and heavy, cat's eye make-up  that was quite popular in the 1960s.

For the 1950s, there is no other iconic figure than Audrey Hepburn herself. Her timeless, classic chic was translated by Paltrow and the Max Factor style team with a clean up-do,and sophisticated, understated make-up.

But perhaps the most talked-about look is the one that represented the era of the 1980s, which had the A-list actress dress up as estranged BFF Madonna. It should be noted that the two became really tight, especially after Paltrow married British Coldplay frontman Chris Martin (the two have since split up), and the actress moved to London. But sources say that the two have had a falling out. What will the Material Girl say about Gwyneth's Madonna make-over? Stay tuned to find out.
