Girls' Generation's Soo Young may be making her small-screen comeback soon!

Soo Young has been offered a lead role in the MBC drama "Spring Days of My Life," and while her participation hasn't been confirmed, it seems like the idol-actress is leaning towards accepting the project.

If she accepts the offer, Soo Young will be portraying the role of Lee Bom Yi, a terminally ill patient who was transplanted a new heart. She will meet the family of her donor, leading to a heart-warming and sentimental love story.

Officials from the drama production team said, "The story will portray a type of love that anyone can relate to, made possible by the director and writer's understanding of human emotion. As such, they have been very careful in choosing the right actors for the role. Once the line-up is confirmed, the drama will begin filming."

Director Lee Jae Dong, who directed "I Miss You," will be leading the production team.

Soo Young previously starred in the drama "Dating Agency Cyrano," and "The Third Hospital." Her participation in the drama will mark her first lead role in a national broadcast channel.

"Spring Days of My Life" is scheduled to premiere after "Fated To Love You."
