Tiny G's Do Hee Confirmed To Star In "Nodame Cantabile"

Tiny G's Do Hee will be making an acting comeback with another adorable character.

Officials from her label GNG Production announced on the 1st, "Do Hee has confirmed her appearance in the drama 'Nodame Cantabile.' We are awaiting the contract before her participation is finalized."

Do Hee, who rose to prominence with her famed character in the hit tvN drama "Reply 1994," will be playing the role of Sakura Saku, a contrabass player who will join Nodame and Chiaki in the S Orchestra.

Her character is described as very short, to the point that her instrument is bigger than her. Despite her family's declining finances, Saku has a huge appetite, a trait that will draw Nodame and Chiaki towards her.

"Nodame Cantabile" is based on the manga by Ninomiya Tomoko. In the live action Japanese version that aired in 2006, Juri Ueno and Hiroshi Tamaki starred as the characters Noda 'Nodame' Megumi and Shinichi Chiaki, respectively.

In related news, Joo Won will be portraying the role of Shinichi Chiaki, while Baek Yoon Sik will be the quirky Maestro Franz Von Stresemann.

The drama is scheduled to premiere on October.
