Nicola Peltz, the breakout star from Transformers: Age of Extinction appears on a photo spread for the July issue of Harper's Bazaar China.

The 19-year old actress posted an Instagram photo of the magazine with the following caption. Thank you soo much @harpersbazaarcn for including me in your July issue! Loved this amazing team! You all are so talented!".

Peltz is shown in the photo spread in a garage setting with various gritty cars ( a nod to the movie) serving as a contrast to her ultra-glam look, which consisted of Versace and Fendi pieces.

This latest movie, which is the 5th in the Tranformers franchise has been performing really well at the box office. It has grossed $381 million worldwide, after just a five day run in cinemas.

According to Variety, the movie has even made more money in China than in the U.S. Transformers reaped $121 million in its first five days in the United States, while in China it earned $134.5 million in the same amount of time.

This data was released by China Movie Media group, which is a partner in the Transformers production team.

What's more, the movie has been breaking box-office records in the sprawling Asian country. The previous biggest earner was a China-Hong Kong production called, The Money King. This movie grossed $ 133 million in a period of 11 days. Transformers: Age of Extinction has accomplished this feat in half the time.

The movie is also predicted to eclipse the previous big Hollywood earner in China, Avatar. The movie earned a record $ 217.7 million at the Chinese box office.

Transformers' big haul from China is virtually unprecedented, where its government strictly protects the interest of its local productions by making sure its Hollywood counterparts don't have the edge in screening schedules and such.

But Paramount Pictures took steps to make sure that the movie would appeal to Chinese audiences, such as casting shooting parts of the movie in China and Hong Kong, and casting Chinese star Li Bingbing
