Rising viewer ratings for "Triangle" ensured that the drama about three orphaned brothers will get a two-episode extension. And the tvN comedy "High School King of Manners" also earned an extension, which can only happen if the stars' schedules permit.

"Triangle," starring Lee Bum Soo, JYJ's Kim Jaejoong and ZE:A's Im Si Wan, slowly won over a larger audience. The drama languished in third place for a while and recently rose to second place in the Monday-Tuesday night dramas. It may have taken a while to catch on with viewers due to the plot's slow pacing, but the drama eventually won critical praise for the work of its actors.

Lee Bum Soo is a veteran actor, Kim Jaejoong may be doing the best acting of his career and rookie Im Si Wan has impressed viewers with his command of the role. They are three brothers who have very different lives and broken hearts only a reunion can heal. It's as much of a drama about what it means to be family, as it is about gambling and taking a chance.

Originally scheduled to be 24 episodes, an MBC representative told Star News that the actors and producers decided to add two more. The final episode will be shown on July 29, which means the next drama, "The Night Watchman," will begin in August.

"We have six episodes left until the end, but a lot of stories are yet to be explained, and thus we decided to extend the drama," said the MBC representative.

The tvN comedy "High School King of Manners," starring Lee Ha Na, Seo In Guk and Lee Soo Hyuk" is also in talks for a possible extension. A tvN representative told TV Report that it is currently a matter of scheduling.

"We are in the early stages of discussion," said the representative. "We need to adjust to the actors' schedules.

Seo In Guk's agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, confirmed that the producers are trying to coordinate filming.

"High School King Of Manners" quickly attracted a loyal following. It's a story about a high school student who must pretend to be his older brother, an executive at a major corporation. But the story is about more than his mad scramble between two lives. It comically illustrates the truth that life is just an extension of high school, especially when it comes to love and rivalry.

The drama owes its success to clever writing and also pitch-perfect acting by the two male leads. Seo In Guk hockey star student is a troublemaker in school but comes across as confident in the business world. The risk-taking that jeopardizes his high school career is seen as bold in the boardroom. Lee Soo Hyuk has created an icy villain that viewers still manage to feel sorry for.
