According to the official website of MTV, this word can now be a verb which would mean "To pretend to be someone you're not online by posting false information, such as someone else's pictures, on social media sites usually with the intention of getting someone to fall in love with you."

MTV new series "Catfish," brings together couples who've interacted solely through their LCD screens. Over months or years, these romantics have become smitten, but the twist or question is, what will happen when they meet in real life for the first time?

Nev Schulman and his filmmaking pal, Max Joseph, a hopeful romantic partner will go on an emotional journey to discover the truth about their significant other. 

The MTV "Catfish" series actually explores the truths and lies of online dating. And since there's a feigning mechanics on the characters, more and more twists and drama happened.

Since the season 3 finale of MTV "Catfish" is near, it means new contract and a question if the series will continue running with another season or already have its series finale. 

According to The Epoch Times, sometines, the network announces the renewal after the season ends. The same source also mentioned that "The season 2 announcement was made during season 1, but the season 3 announcement was made on October 25, 2013-eight days after season 2 had ended".

But last July 12, finally, the renewal of the MTV "Catfish" series has been announced. But there is no date yet as to when it will be air.

So for the avid fans of this reality dating online series, Catfish, keep your heads up as MTV may soon announced when this series will be back.
