After announcing who will get the role of Batman for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice", Batfleck haters pop out online, especially on Facebook and Twitter.

MTV reported that Ben Afleck said that haters are a good thing.

Lately, the Daredevil star opened up to Entertainment Weekly about the internet's reaction to him on getting the role of Batman, directed by Zack Snyder. He said:

"Before I took the role, Warner Bros. gave me a bunch of past reactions to casting and said, 'Are you sure you want to get into this? This is part and parcel of these movies now. There's a lot of active fans with a lot of opinions,'"

Affleck answered, "Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I wouldn't have taken the part if I didn't trust my instincts in terms of the filmmaking."

Additionally, according to the source, the latest Batman actor is very confident as of Snyder's strong visual style and his ability to understand this kind of criticism comes with the territory. The actor also compared his upcoming movie to the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie and the backlash around Jamie Dornan's casting.

He stated:

"There are the Greek myths and these are the American myths. The American myths are these superheroes."

"People care about 'em a lot. And it's incumbent on you to do a good job and make it as excellent as you possibly can. At the end of the day, the movie's all that matters."
