Song Seung Hun – Kim Jae Joong For MBC's ‘Timeslip Dr. Jin’
On the 23rd, a representative from MBC revealed to OSEN, "The plans and details of 'Timeslip Dr. Jin' are in final stages.
Drama 'Timeslip Dr. Jin' is a story of Korea's best doctor who travels back and forth in the past to the 1860s, during the Chosun dynasty, for a brand new medical drama. The original storyline came from a ten year cartoon series by Japanese artist Murakami Motoka, which developed into a Japanese TBS drama in 2009. This popular drama has been revised to match the emotion of Koreans.
In the drama, Song Seung Hun plays Korea's best doctor, Jin Hyuk, who cannot accept others' mistakes or failures and is always strict and cold in judging others.
Kim Jae Joong has been casted as Chosun's best military officer with outstanding martial arts skills, Kim Kyung Tak. He will be displaying a rivalry with the 21st century doctor who has come to the past, Jin Hyuk (Song Seung Hun).
'Timeslip Dr. Jin' is gathering high expectations of many through the two Korean Wave stars' casting and is planned to air in the first half of the year.
