Budget eaters and college kids love to eat instant ramen noodles. Here's the bad news, ramen, along with other instant noodle products, boost the risk for cardiometabolic syndrome, a risk factor for serious cardiovascular illness and stroke, particularly in women.

Significant studies stated that people who are eating instant noodles unaware about probable health risks.   During the study from 2007-2009, it was found discovered that eating instant noodles like Thai, lo mein and ramen, more than twice per week was linked to a collection of abnormalities affecting body's metabolic, renal and cardiovascular systems. Researches show that the chemical, Bisphenol A or BPA interrupts with the manner hormones send signal by the body, particularly estrogen, which is more present among women. BPA is in the Styrofoam, used to pack instant noodles.

The food product have vast amount of unhealthy ingredients, like chemical preservative tertiary-butylhydroquinone or TBHQ, MSG and highly saturated fat. The research focused on participants from South Korea, as the Koreans consume enormous amounts of instant noodles in the world, and health illnesses like obesity and heart diseases have increased. However, the results seem to be a little significant to U.S. consumers too, as they are in the 6th place in the consumption of instant noodles. In 2013, there were 4,300 billion units sold in the U.S, Japan, India, Vietnam, China and Indonesia.In 2012, a viral video circulated online, which is taken inside the digestive tract, although, inconclusive, proved what occurred after instant ramen was eaten, and it was not good.  The stomach worked double time, having a hard time grinding the noodles strands; the possible culprit is the petroleum byproduct and TBHQ. The Malaysian Health administration announced a caution versus consumption of instant noodles because of ingredients like preservatives, thickeners, sodium and stabilizers that may damage the heart, kidney and liver.
