"Duck Dynasty" season 6 has just ended, and fans of the hit reality show are wondering what's next for the Robertson clan.

The good news is "Duck Dynasty" will be back for a new season! Alan Robertson, the eldest son of Phil Robertson has recently spilled the beans, saying:

"We know we're locked in for at least another full year - through 2015. Beyond that, we really don't know," Robertson shared.

"We have recommitted this year - both our family and the network production crew - to putting out some really good stories from our family that we can all enjoy. I think this next year's going to be really, really good."

The reality show was feared to be cancelled due to a decline in ratings.  When "Til Duck Do Us Part" premiered, almost 12 million viewers tuned in.  The success of the special hasn't been duplicated ever since.

However, "Duck Dynasty" season 6 had an average rating of 4.3M per episode and that was enough reason for A&E to sign the bunch for another season.  And as The Hollywood Reporter puts it, "Duck Dynasty" remains to be the most-watched reality series on cable TV.

New reports are claiming that the cast is filming new episodes after "Duck Dynasty" season 6 ended last August 13.  Duck Commander employee John Godwin shared that filming began last week.

"We've got some good things going on in it that we're pretty excited about," Godwin said. "We'll be traveling abroad and there's some good stuff."

Rumor has it that the cast has just arrived from an overseas shoot.  No confirmation or additional details were offered about the said rumor.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that fans will be seeing more of Alan a.k.a. The Beardless Brother next season.

"One of the best additions is they're starting to put me on the air more," he said.

"For a while I joked that they only brought me on when they wanted the big ratings. To this day the highest rated show is the wedding, so I want to thank all of America for making my debut so meaningful."

What do you think of "Duck Dynasty" season 6? What do you think can the Robertson clan offer more this season?
