The big question still remains, when will Apple announce the official iPhone 6 specs and release date?

As of writing, the tech innovation giant has yet to release a statement about when the new iPhone will hit stands.  Apple aficionados worldwide are excited to get their hands on the new mobile device.

Several rumors have already spread online about the iPhone 6's specs.  The new iPhone will reportedly have an ultra-thin battery making it the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever made, and will have a 13MP upgrade on its camera.

Moreover, the new iPhone will be equipped with the capability for wireless charging.  The technology is not new as several Nokia, LG and HTC phones are already utilizing the feature.  But what could set the iPhone 6 apart from its competitors is its feature to fully charge a drained battery in just 5 minutes.

A report claims that Apple is developing a unique battery life innovation for the new mobile device. A Cult of Mac report offers more information.

When it comes to the iPhone 6's release date, a new report suggests that September 19 could finally be the date all Apple fans are waiting for.  According to Macworld: "If Apple follows the same pattern as last year the phone will be previewed at an event on 9 September, and available to buy on the 19 September."

"Indeed, according to reports, Apple is planning to hold an event on Tuesday 9 September at which it will launch the new iPhone 6. This report came from Re/Code, which is generally a good source of Apple rumours. So, Friday 19 September looks like the day to join the iPhone queue (unless you prefer to queue up for a week or so)," the article added.
