Samsung Galaxy S2 Beats iPhone; Awarded The MWC Best Smartphone

Samsung Galaxy S2 was awarded the Best Smartphone at MWC 2012 (Mobile World Congress 2012).

GSMA, the host organization of MWC 2012, announced on 28th that Samsung Galaxy S2 was prized the Best Smartphone of the Year at their "Global Mobile Awards."

The GSM Awards Committee which consists of mobile experts and analysts made the nominees list with the world's leading smartphones - iPhone, HTC's Desire S, and Lumia 800 of Nokia along with Samsung's Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Nexus. The Galaxy 2S was judged the best at the end.

Samsung Electronics was awarded the Best Device manufacturer of the Year as well and became a double winner.
