Rick Grimes and company will be coming back to television screens on October 12 and they will face darker and grittier times. These 'The Walking Dead' season 5 photos promises more gore and danger for the next season.

Andrew Lincoln, who plays Grimes, is already warning against kids watching 'The Walking Dead' season 5.

"There are families that watch it together, but just so it's on the record, guys-it's a grown-up show this season," he told Entertainment Weekly. The magazine will be releasing four new collectible covers featuring the cast of the highly rated show.

Executive producer Robert Kirkman already promised that action will come much faster into the new season.

AMC has also increased fans' anticipation with its release of two new teasers for the show, featuring the citizens of Terminus and an edgier Rick. As if the Comic Con trailer last month wasn't mind-blowing enough.
