"The Purge 2" or "The Purge: Anarchy" has reportedly enjoyed the biggest opening for any horror film this year. It might be because of the twisted plot of the movie wherein normal people get to legally murder others once a year.
And because of its success, Universal Resort will have an attraction mirroring the flick in this year's Halloween Horror Nights.
"The Purge Scare Zone will be taking up most of our New York back lot," explains Michael Aiello, director of entertainment - creative development, for Universal Orlando Resort. "The familiar emergency broadcast message will be heard ... and all hell will literally break loose."
The Halloween Horror Nights will be on its 24th year this year.
According to USA Today, "It invites guests to explore multiple haunted houses, street experiences and live shows featuring some of the biggest names in horror."
"The 2014 installment of the popular Halloween event is already set to feature scares courtesy of AMC's The Walking Dead, From Dusk Till Dawn, and SyFy's Face Off at both the Hollywood and Orlando parks."

"A couple are driving home to their kids when their car runs out of gas just as the Purge commences. Meanwhile, a police sergeant goes out into the streets to get revenge on the man who killed his son, and a mother and daughter run from their home after assailants destroy it. The five people meet up as they attempt to survive the night in Los Angeles."
