The TVLine did not really report "American Horror Story: Freak Show" spoilers but it did publish the new poster which it describes as "putting its creepiest foot forward" heading towards the show's airing date on October 8.
As the website noted, "there's something unusual about the stiletto on this Freak Show participant's foot."
"It is her foot!"
Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter revealed "American Horror Story: Freak Show" as it reported the addition to the cast with Skyler Samuels of "Nine Lives of Chloe King."
"While specific plot details about Samuels' role are being kept under wraps, sources tell THR that she plays a 'pivotal character' described as a local who finds herself in a tough situation," it said.
The FX network has been having a blast teasing viewers of creepy videos and stills to promote "American Horror Story: Freak Show." Last month, it released a clip of a man with a forked tongue licking a lollipop.
Led by Jessica Lange's character Elsa Mars, the merry band of misfits arrived in the town towards the end of the American Carny era. The actress dished out "American Horror Story: Freak Show" spoilers to Entertainment Weekly as she described her character as "very manipulative."
"She understands what's needed and she provides it. However the thing I want to be very clear that Elsa really loves these people. She truly cares for them in her own selfish narcissistic way. It's not just exploitation," she explained.
As the revenues dwindle, Elsa Mars goes on to hire conjoined twins (but very different personalities) Bette and Dot, played by Sarah Paulson. Reining in the troops is Ethel the bearded lady, played by Kathy Bates, according to creator Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story" season 4 spoilers to Inside TV.
