Rumors have it that the "Divergent" series "Insurgent" lovebirds Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) will be parting ways in the sequel.

According to Christian Post, the reason for the supposed breakup will be a third party. Edgar, whose character Johnny Weston portrays, will be coming in the "Divergent" series "Insurgent." He will allegedly come between the sweethearts and cause trouble.

With heartbreak on the horizon, how will this affect the "Divergent" series "Insurgent" hero's  and heroine's chances of surviving their ordeal?

Good thing, his influence in their relationship would not last long. Because just like what Christian Post mentioned, the fans would not be too happy about it - and the rest of the online community could only nod their heads in agreement to that.

Aside from Edgar's stepping into the picture, Tris and Four's relationship will come under fire due to other difficulties. Christian Today shared that their love will be tested by various factors present in "The Divergent" series "Insurgent." Among the challenges are the dangers in their society and current predicament. Also, their differing opinions on certain issues would further strain their union.

During the 2014 ComicCon in San Diego, Theo James talked about the importance of developing strong characters, reported Christian Post. He said that in the movie Tris and Four's roles are critical because they hold the whole story together. He went on to add that if the characters are developed well enough, the plot would not suffer.

The hunky actor provided this explanation in an effort to quell the concern over the frnchise's straying from the original novel plot. Christian Post shared that the actor thinks it is alright to experiment with the plot a bit on the next sequel.

He noted that sticking to the novel's plot in the original film was crucial to satisfy the fan base's expectations. Accomplishing that would earn more creative freedom for the creators, which they can exercise in executing the sequel.
