TMZ was able to obtain the birth certificate of the Hollywood couple's newborn and it was indicated there the name of their baby. Are you ready to find out what her name is? They named her Esmeralda Amada.
Esmeralda is a Spanish word which means "emerald" so either they named their baby that because she is a precious gem or maybe they are just fans of the popular Disney movie "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" where the lead female character was named Esmeralda.
Amada, on the other hand, means "beloved" in Spanish and it so happens to be the name of the 40-year old actress' character in the movie "We Own the Night". Apart from the name, it also stated there the exact day that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling's baby was born.
It says there that she was born on September 12 in Santa Monica so she is turning one month tomorrow! The gorgeous pair decided to keep a low profile during Eva's pregnancy and even after she gave birth. They are doing a great job with that because until today, we haven't seen any leaked photos of their newborn.
Their fans are wondering how the two feel about becoming first-time parents. According to Us Weekly, "Ryan is thrilled it's a little girl."
