'What's With This Family' Kim Hyun Joo, Better Acting Than Looks
KBS2 weekend drama "What's With this Family" Kim Hyun Joo talked more about her confidence in acting than her looks.
At the press conference of KBS 2TV weekend "What's With this Family" (script Kang Eun Kyung, director Jun Chang Geun) on October 16th held at the Seoul Youngdengpogu Yeoidodong location, Kim Hyun Joo said, "The setting was al made by the writer. I am a bit more lively of a character and we thought that we would add in more energy by adding a twist into it."
Kim Hyun Soo also said, "honestly, I don't think I'm an actress that is particularly good looking. But I think I'm an actress that is pretty good at acting. So I don't really put on a lot of makeup. I wasn't going to get particularly courageous or get pressured or such. I am actually just having a lot of fun acting and being myself."
Meanwhile, "What with this Family" is a drama that follows the daily lives of a chaotic family. Moon Tae Joo (played by Kim Sang Kyung) is the second highest ranking employee at Daeoh Company. In this drama, he thinks that he is better than a lot of other people and is affected by trauma and love. The plot takes a turn when he meets his secretary Cha Gang Sim (played by Kim Hyun Joo).
