GQ had the opportunity to meet Ed Sheeran's girlfriend last summer during their vacation in Ibiza, Spain. According to the publication, the pair seemed quite happy partying. Some fans also spotted the sweet couple jumping off a boat with intertwined hands during their Ibiza outing in July.

Andrelos even got the casual redhead to take off his shirt for an Instagram photo.

It looks like he needed the vacation to spend more time with his girlfriend. The 23-year-old is currently jetting off to different countries to promote his newest album, 'X.'

According to GQ's feature on the British acoustic sensation, "the kid just can't wipe the smile off his face" as he partied in Ibiza with his girlfriend beside him.

Whether Ed Sheeran's girlfriend will be there with him or not, the 'Thinking Out Loud' crooner still wants a break from work. He has been working hard, making a name for himself all over the world.

"I haven't had any time off since before I signed my record deal and I want some!" He told The Sun in an interview.

So what will he do during this much needed break?

The 'Don't' singer said he will "do what I enjoy and it won't feel like work."

According to Mirror UK, he also won't be releasing the Christmas track he was previously teasing fans with.

He has been together with Athina Andrelos for more than nine months and he just can't stop gushing about her during interviews.

Ed Sheeran's girlfriend seems to have also helped him move on from a past heartbreak. The guitar-toting singer was previously put under the spotlight for writing a song about his cheating ex-girlfriend. However, he did say he already forgave his former flame (allegedly 'Burn' singer Ellie Goulding) and was even grateful because he got to write a song about the experience.
