Park Min Sook—Rich, Sharp, Cool, and Charismatic

Today, being the main character does not guarantee praise and popularity. In many instances, supporting roles receive more attention than do the protagonists. There are increasingly a variety of supporting roles and noteworthy actors and actresses that deserve attention.

One especially notable character is that of Park Min Sook, played by Kim Jung Nan, in 'A Gentleman's Dignity'. Park Min Sook is the charismatic wife of Lee Jung Rok (Lee Jong Hyuk). She has earned everything in life through money, even her husband. While her money may make her arrogant and often cold to others, she also exhibits a soft human side, especially when it comes to her marriage.  

Park Mi Sook's charisma derives not only from her expensive clothing and jewelry, but also from her sharpness and implicitly kind heart. Viewers are attracted to this type of character because there are not many of her kind in real life. They wait for her next unpredictable move.

Park Mi Sook does not have everything, however. She is unable to obtain love. She constantly fights with herself, with her fragile trust in her husband. While her husband Lee Jung Rok had been an untrustworthy player in the past, he has recently been displaying his sincerity. He is unexpectedly developing into a 'gentleman' and his bittersweet relationship with Park Min Sook has been attracting a lot of attention lately.  

Kim Jung Nan does a great job of manifesting the complexity of charismatic Park Min Sook. It is no wonder that supporting roles are receiving so much attention.
