PS4 System Update 2.0 Release Date, Download: Sony Is Now Looking Into The PS4 Crash Issues; ‘Masamune 2.0’ System Features Share Play, YouTube Uploading, And Others

PS4 system update 2.0 release date is Oct. 28 and it is now ready to download.

The updated Sony PS4, which comes in 218MB size, boasts of new features, which include YouTube uploading, Share Play, USB music playback, and themes. It also did some improvements to library organization and voice commands.

Discussing these new features, Share Play lets you share your copy of the game, for instance FIFA 15, to your friends. Just click the "Share" button that can be found in the control pad, choose "Share Play" in the menu and then release a party invite. You can play against each other or he can take control of the game in case you are stuck.  

To use YouTube uploading, select "Upload" and the "Facebook" and "YouTube" icons will appear in the menu. Click "YouTube" and options will appear, including those that will allow you to edit videos, and add description and comment sections. You have to create an account for this and sync it with your PSN account.

Music can't be stored on the PS4 but you can play it through USB while playing the game. Unfortunately, you can't stop the music in the game.

However, after the news on PS4 system update 2.0 release date and download, users report glitches and console crashes. Among them is a bug that foils the console to power back after being in rest mode. These reports were posted in the official PlayStation community forums.

Game Informer was able to hear from a Sony representative who says, "We're aware of issues reported by some PS4 users following the release of PS4's latest system software update, v 2.00. We're investigating these issues and will provide an update once we have more information."
