By next year, the day will finally come when Starbucks' customers won't have to wait in line for the infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte.
According to the Associated Press, the coffee franchise will over a delivery and pre-order/pick-up option on their mobile app in certain markets by 2015.
On Thursday during a conference call with investors, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz spoke on the new business venture.
“Imagine the ability to create a standing order of Starbucks delivered hot to your desk daily,” he said, reported The Wall Street Journal . “That’s our version of e-commerce on steroids.”
As told by Forbes, under Schultz leadership, Starbucks’ consolidated net revenues increased 10 percent to a quarter-four record $4.18 billion.
Furthermore, Nasdaq notes that sales at Starbucks-owned stores open at least 13 months increased five percent in the fourth quarter.
