Blackberry Passport vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 3: According to a survey, 66 percent of small business owners make use of mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, to attend to their businesses. Choosing from these two phones, which one can help more in managing and increasing productivity?

Let's review the display, performance, and battery life of Blackberry Passport and Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Display

It's not surprising if business users opt for big phone screens. They want sufficient screen space to become more productive. Bigger display makes it easier for them to read and type messages, surf the Internet, manage emails, as well as to write letters.

Blackberry Passport has a big screen at 4.5 inches and satisfactory display resolution of 1440 x 1440 pixels. Galaxy Note 3's display is bigger at 5.7 inches. It also has resolutions of 1080 x 1920 pixels. In terms of productivity, one may go for Note 3 but the Blackberry Passport is also a better choice if you will have to consider which unit is comfortable to hold with one hand.

Performance

Blackberry Passport vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Both phones are powered by quad-core Snapdragon (Passport is 801 clocked at 2200 MHz and Note 3 is 800 clocked at 2300) from Qualcomm. With such powerful hardware inside, both are expected to deliver decent performance.

These two units differ in built-in storage, however. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is packed with 64GB; Blackberry Passport is only half of that size (32GB).

Battery Life

Because we are speaking of productivity, battery life is therefore another significant aspect to note.

Blackberry Passport promises talk time of 18 hours while Note 3 is longer at 25 hours. Plus, this Samsung handset permits business users to carry an extra battery in case of need as it can be replaced. Passport's battery is, unfortunately, not replaceable.
