Smartphones vs. tablets: Should you have both? Isn't it enough to own just the smartphone? What are your uses for the tablet? It's not easy to find answers to these two questions, right? Let this article enlighten you.

Primarily, identify your needs. If your primary concerns are to send and receive texts, and to make and receive calls, then a smartphone is enough for you. If you want additional enjoyment by playing games, using Facebook and other social media networks, recording videos, and taking photos, you should not look farther because today's phones can do these tasks for you.

However, if you are a busy professional, who always monitors and stores data, checks emails, write reports and presentations, and other similar office tasks, you should consider owning a tablet. Its big screen (ranging from 7 to 10 inches) is sufficient to make it easier for you to complete your tasks and subsequently improve productivity.

But this does not mean that you will no longer need a smartphone. Tablets and/or phablets are too big you will feel awkward to use it when making or receiving calls. It is easier to communicate using just one hand using a typical Android phone or an iPhone.

Smartphones vs. tablets: Which is better when it comes to taking pictures and/or videos?

Most of these devices have the same camera specs and features but many people find it uncomfortable to take pictures using tablets. These are too big than smartphones. These even distract some people who are shooting the same images. These may also cause them to laugh at you.

Tablets are also difficult to handle and may possibly slip through your hands. For these reasons, you may consider having these two gadgets.

Smartphones vs. tablets: Your needs should be your primary reasons for buying both devices. You should not waste money if you know you only require one.
