The Originals Season 2: Someone From Klaus’ Past Will Haunt Him In Episode 6! Will Rebekah Come Back? Read More [Spoilers] Here!

This week's 'The Originals' season 2 episode delved more into the Mikaelson's past and revealed more of Esther's secrets.

This time, Esther uses Klaus' past to convince him to take her up on her offer to turn him back into a human. Unfortunately, the promise of making a family of his own once "cured" isn't enough for the vindictive hybrid to his mother's attempt to end his daughter's life.

In flashback, we learn that Esther, unable to conceive asked her sister's help for a baby which required a hefty sacrifice. That "sacrifice" Dalia was talking about turns out to be the first born children of her whole line, including her own first granddaughter, Hope.

Now we know why Esther planned to kill baby Hope but she doesn't explain this to Klaus. She, instead, gives him what she thinks is the next best thing - the return of his biological father, Ansel.

It turns out Ansel (who was killed by Mikael a thousand years ago) is teaching Jackson "the old ways" and when the supposed Alpha refuses to help Hayley save Oliver, he volunteers in his stead.

It turns out, Esther planned the whole rescue mission for Klaus to meet his father and somehow help abate his anger. It doesn't work. Her attempt to kill his daughter had made Klaus' hatred run deeper than ever.

 This brings us back to Dalia's vow to take away all the firstborns in Esther's line. Turns out, there's another Mikaelson out there. Whether Freya's alive, a vampire or not, however, still remains unseen.

The reveal of Esther's secret opens the Mikaelsons lives to another threat - their Aunt Dalia. Will she come back for Hope? When will she appear to fulfil the deal she made with Esther.

According to Enstars, fans will see Rebekah on 'The Originals' season 2 again, now that Hope's safety is once again in danger. Executive producer Michael Narducci revealed that Claire Holt will be appear on episode 8 and she most likely will be more open to Esther's offer of a new life.

It seems Esther still has a lot more plans up her sleeves. Narducci reportedly revealed to E! News that the ancient witch has a "horrifying" plan for Cammie. She will play an "important" role in Esther's whole scheme.
