Dean Winchester's (Jensen Ackles) first kill after being cured is a little bit worrying for his brother Sam (Jared Padalecki). As the younger Winchester put it, is he still affected by some demon residue? Read on for this week's 'Supernatural' season 10 recap!

Dean and Sam claim an inheritance left by a rich old lady for their surrogate father Bobby. When they get there, however, they're met with a money-hungry, dysfunctional family that gets killed off one by one in the mansion. At first they think it's a vengeful spirit but they quickly find out that it was actually a shapeshifter.

After being duped by the maid, they find out she was actually the deceased owner's real daughter. She's also the shapeshifter that's been murdering people. After some struggle, Dean manages to kill her with a silver bullet.

What worries Sam (and perhaps some Supernatural fans) though, is the two or three more shots he fired on Olivia's already dead body.

In earlier episodes, Sam had been very reluctant to allow Dean to kill anything or anybody since they still didn't know if the bloodlust associated with the Mark of Cain had already been quenched after Dean returned to being human.

Three episodes later, Dean's first ever kill is a telltale clue of the inner darkness that's still plaguing the older Winchester.

The way he remorselessly killed Olivia in this episode brings his humanity in question again. Did Sam and Castiel (Misha Collins) really cure him? Is he not a demon anymore? Or perhaps he was just learned how to hide the darkness inside of him better.

Past 'Supernatural' season 10 recaps show him becoming "normal" Dean again, even cracking jokes and craving things human Dean would ask for. However, this episode gave fans a glimpse into how deep the damage that mark on his arm has given him.

Dean even refuses to talk about the issue, purposely drowning out Sam's worry with music as they drive off. Is he just reassuring Sam that he's really okay or is he hiding something much more sinister?
