Jo Yoon Hee's character in "Nine: Nine Time Travels" prompted Lee Jin Wook to risk his life by repeatedly traveling through time. In "The King's Face" a king, a prince and a face reader love her character. While it's nice to be loved, her characters seem to cause a lot of trouble.

How much do you know about this actress? Here are some facts:

1.     Despite the top roles she has landed lately, it took her a while to get noticed as an actress. She modeled in high school and appeared in a video for singer Lee Soo Young. She had her first sitcom in 2002 but then nothing much seemed to happen.

"Many people ask me whether I felt anxious over the years when my career seemed to have stalled, but I'm actually quite laid back and slow to react, so I didn't really think about why things weren't working out as I'd hoped," she said in an interview with the Chosun Ilbo. "I think I've come this far slowly but steadily by working with whatever roles I was given."

2.     She found it easy to film love scenes with her "Nine" co-star Lee Jin Wook, but she credits him with that.

"Being comfortable with my co-star is the most important factor for me when I'm filming love scenes," she said in an interview with Marie Claire. "When he's comfortable with me and makes the first move, I can follow his lead. Lee Jin Wook really looks after his female co-stars.  The male lead has to be one who is the most considerate towards the female lead, in my opinion."

3.     The 32-year-old actress hopes to get married before she is 35. Her ideal type of man is, "someone who is caring and someone that is committed to me."

4.     She likes to eat when she is stressed out but she is careful to exercise regularly and receives acupuncture treatments to help cope with stress in a less caloric way.

5.     She's shy in real life and really likes spending time with animals.

"I'm the kind of person who finds it incredibly difficult to have a conversation with someone I don't know well," she said. "Instead of making random bits of small talk, I just say what I have to say and move on.  But I think I've changed a lot these days.

She admires actress Audrey Hepburn both because of her film career and her charity efforts on behalf of animals.
