The latest "Zoolander 2" news got many fans excited because Penelope Cruz will be joining the cast of the new sequel. The 40-year old Spanish beauty will star alongside three famous comedians so it will be a blast seeing her walk the runway and join the hilarious gang.

According to Deadline, Ben Stiller will star and direct the film while Jennifer Aniston's fiancé Justin Theroux will do the script for Paramount Pictures. Stiller will reprise his role as Derek Zoolander and same goes for Owen Wilson, who stars as the supermodel's rival Hansel McDonald.

Also joining the comedic duo is Will Ferrell, who will return as fashion mogul Jacobim Mugatu. The former Saturday Night Live host confirmed that he will be part of the movie a few months ago. Joblo.com reported Ferrell saying, "We are actually supposed to do a read-through of a sequel script soon, and Mugatu is a part of it."

It's been more than 13-years since we saw the air-headed models on the big screen so pretty sure a lot of things have changed. The role of Penelope Cruz in "Zoolander 2" hasn't been revealed yet, but she would most likely be a supermodel. The "Blue Steel" pose was Derek Zoolander's trademark look so would he be coming up with a new killer pose to catch up with the trend?

During an interview with MTV News, Ben Stiller revealed the possible plot of "Zoolander 2". He said, "In the fashion world, if you go away for a year, it's changed - it just happens so quickly." Stiller added, "I think the idea in the beginning of the movie is that it's 10 years later, and Derek and Hansel are literally forgotten. Nobody remembers who they are, so they have to reinvent themselves."

The 48-year old director also said, "We're going to take the best of what we have." He added, "We have a new story idea that we feel excited about, and we're going to try to go forward." I'm sure that got you all excited! We will share more "Zoolander 2" news, cast and plot updates soon.
