Seo In Gook Gave the Idea of Kim Soo Hyun's Character in 'Dream High'
It was revealed that Seo In Gook created the idea of Kim Soo Hyun's character in 'Dream High.'
In the episode of the SBs talk show 'Go Show' that was aired on the 7th of September, it was revealed that Seo In Gook had created the character of the country boy Sam Dong.
Seo In Gook revealed, "I feel proud that I gave the idea of that character. I met with the director and when he asked me what kind of character I wanted to see I told him, 'I am a country boy. I came to Seoul to make my dreams come true. I think it would be fun to see that kind of character.'"
He continued, "The director liked the idea and asked for my phone number. And so I waited for his call but it never came. 'Dream High' became very popular and I saw that Kim Soo Hyun became the country boy. When I saw that I suddenly became jealous."
Seo In Gook then said, "It was my idea and I didn't expect him to give me the role but I thought that he would at least buy me a drink. It was definitely my idea."
