‘Jane The Virgin’ Season 1 Recap: Jane And Rafael Take Things Beyond Their Telenovela Kiss In Episode 7! Are They Moving Too Fast?

Although Jane and Rafael already shared that perfect telenovela kiss - complete with a romantic moonlight setting and falling petals - Jane still ends up with a lot of apprehension about starting a relationship with him thanks to a talk with her mother.

She reminds her that Rafael had already kissed her nearly five years ago but things didn't end well that time. The Rafael then had been a playboy, promising to call Jane but never actually doing so. Will he be doing the same thing now?

The next day, he doesn't just call, he visits her as well.

Things get more complicated when Michael discovers the flowers and the accompanying note that Rafael sent over for Jane. Hurt (and sexually frustrated after waiting for two years), he ends up sleeping with his partner Nadine.

Jane, on the other hand, decides to take things slow with Rafael. When she sees him in a club being surrounded by a lot of women, however, she gets jealous.

Rafael shoots down all her reasons for saying no to him (the baby, his past, their different worlds, his divorce, and his crazy soon-to-be ex-wife) and she eventually gives in. They end up having those talks that last forever.

They're time together was so sweet in fact that Jane falls asleep at Rafael's place, without telling her mother what happened. The incident only further frustrates and worries Xiomara.

Just when they think things are finally looking up, Petra teams up with his mortal enemy to take the hotel away from Rafael. Will it affect his budding romance with Jane?

On the other side of this "Jane The Virgin" season 1 recap, Xiomara and Rogelio try to pretend that they're fine with their breakup. Thanks to their pride, they are forced to go on a double date together- with different partners.

Fortunately, Xo lands herself a sweet and relatively famous guy (her student's soccer player dad) amking Rogelio even more jealous. Will Jane's mom have her own love triangle to deal with?

On episode 8, Jane will finally tell Rafael that she's a virgin. How do you think will Rafael take it?
