Oprah Winfrey To Join 'Suicide Squad'?

Some casts of "Suicide Squad" have already been officially announced including actors Jared Leto, Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney and Cara Delevingne. However, the film production is not yet done adding cast to complete the team of villain.

Cinema Blend reported the film production is eyeing for an actress to play Amanda Waller, a comic character who directs the team. Their options are  Oprah Winfrey, Viola Davis, and Octavia Spencer which are said to be their top candidates for the part.  

According to Variety's desription, Amanda Waller  is the one who oversees the team just like Nick Fury in the Marvel Universe. 

As of the moment, it not yet clear how far the production is into the casting process for the character. However, CB said that Oprah Winfrey is currently considered the frontrunner.
