IU, Instead Of Going To College, Will Earnestly Begin Acting
Singer IU picked dramas over going to college.
IU decided not to apply for college again this year. On the 12th, a representative of IU said, "She will not be taking the college entrance exam for 2013 to focus on music and television appearances."
As she was born in 1993, IU turned 20 years old (in Korean age) this year. She made headlines last year when she made the decision not to go to college. She said that she did not want to go to college because if she was not going to be able to go to school regularly, she might as well just go all in to her music activities.
IU plans on beginning to act earnestly by starting with dramas again.
She plans on acting along with all the activities in Korea and Japan after releasing a new album.
IU has been receiving a lot of love calls from dramas.
The representative said, "Right now, she has been offered the main role for several dramas. She looking at all the scripts positively and will pick a project soon to begin acting."
IU has already acted previously in KBS 2TV drama 'Dream High' in 2011.
