Before "Grimm" season 4 went on a break for the holidays, the NBC show left fans in utter shock as the side effect for Nick's (David Guintoli) cure finally reared its ugly head.

Juliette is not the only one in danger, as well. Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) was last seen being hit in the head by some masked Wesens as he got kidnapped the night before he leaves for his honeymoon with Rosalie (Bree Turner).

Although Juliette, Rosalie and the rest of the fandom expected some sort of magical pregnancy as a result of Nick's cure for his powers but the actual effect was a lot more dreadful.

It turns out that Juliette's nausea and stomach pains were actually symptoms of her transition to become a Hexenbiest. With Nick being a Grimm (who hunts down Wesens), how will he handle Juliette's new identity?

According to NBC's synopsis for episode 9, titled "Wesenrein," she will have to think hard about her new condition.

"Nick and Hank must save Monroe from the Secundum Naturae Ordinem Wesen while Juliette considers life as a Hexenbiest," the synopsis says.

According to Dread Central, Bree Turner reportedly shared what will happen to the newly married couple in "Grimm" season 4.

"This is a major storyline for the second half of the season dealing with will they even physically survive this terror attack?" She said. "How are they going to respond to being on the front line of change? And can their relationship really hold up to this?"

She added, "This isn't like the in-laws not liking you. This is very, very serious life and death stuff...., but I think the fans are going to really enjoy it."

As for Juliette, Bitsie Tulloch told Zap2It that becoming a Hexenbiest is "the last thing in the world she wants."

Juliette is "obviously going to try to hide it from him while she figures out how to correct it. She's obviously going to try to desperately get back to normal."

With Rosalie and Monroe having their own problems, however, she will have to look for a cure on her own.

Find out Juliette and Monroe's fate when "Grimm" season 4 resumes on January 16 on NBC.
