Fans can expect game-changing tweaks when the Final Fantasy XV demo launches with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD in March. Magic remains a mysterious element in XV, though, with Game Director Hajime Tabata unsure if it will be included in the demo.

Tabata said the development team at Square Enix was busy tweaking the game in preparation for the Final Fantasy XV demo release date, which comes with the Final Fantasy Type-0 HD launch in March. PlayStationLifeStyle.net reports on the interview with Tabata, which also covered on changes implemented in FF Type-0.

The camera will be closer to characters, and elements like level-up EXP requirements were tweaked for rounded character growth. Players will notice difference in graphics as well:

"We're in the final stages of adjustment, so there are things that are set and others we're adjusting. With the characters, we're adjusting the character models and textures so as to best capture the feel of the [PSP] originals.

Sometimes the original facial expressions bottleneck the adjustments we're trying to make, so in those cases we adjust the facial expressions as well. Rem, Queen and Deuce in particular have been cutened up."

Cidney will also debut on the Final Fantasy XV demo release date; Tabata said she's not a major character in the game, though.

It's still unclear how magic plays out in the game, and Tabata said fans might have to wait for the full version to actually sample it:

"We're still not sure if we'll have magic in the demo, but we're planning to have combos, team-attacks, summoning, basically the whole complement of the battle system and even some things that aren't even going to be in the final release."

Fans should expect a tweaked Final Fantasy XV demo come release date. Tabata said the team implemented changes in consideration to user feedback of the initial release.

"At first the idea was to center the demo around the places you can drive, but the focus shifted towards exploring by walking across the world map. We really want people to experience that along with the cycle of combat and returning to camp. For example, that part in the trailer where you see that Behemoth walking around [is in the demo]."

The demo will give players a good sense of the game's environment; Tabata said the sample won't have Chocobos in it, though.
