'What's WIth this Family' Kim Hyun Joo Cries Learning Why Yoo Dong Geun Hid Illness
Kim Hyun Joo cried, feeling sorrowful about her father Yoo Dong Geun.
On the 39th episode of KBS weekend drama "What's With this Family" (Script Kang Eun Kyung, director Jun Chang Geun) broadcast on December 28th, Cha Kang Shim (played by Kim Hyun Joo) realizes why Cha Soon Bong (played by Yoo Dong Geun) had not disclosed the fact that he had cancer.
On this day, Kang Shim hears from Cha Kang Jae (played by Yoon Park) that Soon Bong can only live for three months. She thought back to Byun Woo Tak (played by Song Jae Hee)'s words when she had said, "This may be the last time that your father could spend time with you wholly as himself."
Thinking of this, Kang Shim goes to Byun Woo Tak. "Why didn't you tell me for three months? How could you not tell me? You should've told me what those three months meant!" With this, she started to bawl.
Hearing her anger, Byun Woo Tak said that it's what her father wanted in case she would be even more hurt. With this, he told her why Soon Bong had hid the fact that he had a limited time to live and tried to comfort her as much as possible.
