Michael Trevino's role as a hybrid in "The Vampire Diaries" put him on a lot of young women's radars. He gained fans for portraying werewolf-turned-vampire Tyler Lockewood, the high school jock with family issues.

As proven by "Twilight" and "Teen Wolf," guys who played werewolves on TV are generally seen as hot by a lot of females. His role in the CW show also made fans curious about Michael Trevino's girlfriend list.

This list, however, isn't very long.

What most people don't know is that the Mexican-American actor spent three years of his life in a relationship with "Glee" star Jenna Ushkowitz. Despite their seemingly odd pairing, there was actually a reason why they got together.

He admitted to Bullett Media in 2012 that he has a "very strong affection towards Asian women." His first crush was a Korean girl named Melody Chow.

When he broke up with Ushkowitz in the first half of 2014, rumors of him hooking up with co-star Nina Dobrev circulated the rumor mill. Dobrev was also linked to several other guys after breaking up with Ian Somerhalder.

Trevino was also linked to Candice Accola (who plays Caroline Forbes) for being an onscreen couple on the CW series.
