Will Benedict Cumberbatch’s Baby Be Called Englebert? ‘The Imitation Game’ Star Talks About His Soon-To-Be Born Child With Ellen DeGeneres!

With Benedict Cumberbatch's baby still a long way off from being born, "The Imitation Game" star and his fiancé, theatre director Sophie Hunter still have no idea whether they're having a boy or a girl.

They also have no list of names yet for the little tot.

In fact, he still doesn't know whether they'll have a "tiny baby" or a "big baby." He only knows that they'll be having "some kind of baby."

Thanks to Ellen DeGeneres, however, the "Sherlock" star now has a list of possible monikers to choose from.

The daytime show host suggested several names that would supposedly be a great match to the British heartthrob's unique last name. The list includes Englebert, Harpsichord (which can be given to a girl or a boy), Glockenspiel (which Cumberbatch thought was definitely for a boy), and Carl.

MTV News even started a poll on what Benedict Cumberbatch's baby should be called. "Carl" is currently on the lead.

The soon-to-be married couple confirmed Hunter's pregnancy last week after fans noticed her baby bump during the Palm Springs Film Festival earlier this month.

"I am delighted to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child," a representative for the couple said in a statement, adding that both parents-to-be were "over the moon."

Cumberbatch and Hunter have not announced an exact date for their wedding yet but according to reports, they are planning to tie the knot in "early spring."

Meanwhile, The "12 Years A Slave" actor recently earned an Oscars 2015 Best Actor nomination for "The Imitation Game." He will be going up against "The Theory Of Everything" star Eddie Redmayne, "Birdman" star Michael Keaton, "Foxcatcher" actor Steve Carell and "American Sniper" lead actor Bradley Cooper.
